Handyman Services

Small carpentry jobs, taken seriously.

Doors that stick, trim that never got finished, shelves, hardware, patches, the list you have been putting off: one written price for the whole list, one scheduled visit, and a clean site when we leave. Carpentry only; we do not do plumbing, electrical, gas, or anything that needs a permit, and we say so up front.

We normally reply the same day.

What We Usually Find

Not every project needs to be a renovation. Most homes carry a list: the door that sticks, the shelf that has waited months, the trim that never got its last coat, the hardware that never got swapped. It grows because no one wants to call a contractor for one small thing.

How A Handyman Visit Runs

Send us the whole list. We reply, normally the same day, sometimes ask for a few photos, and give you one written price for everything on it and one scheduled window. The visit is handled by the same finish carpenter who runs our remodels, the work is checked with you before we leave, and the site is clean when we go. Bringing several small tasks together into a single visit makes the most of it, so keep the list.

Where we take small projects

Close To Home, On Purpose

Small projects stay close to home: we take them in Reading, North Reading, Wilmington, Woburn, Stoneham, Wakefield, and Lynnfield, so a short visit stays worth your while and ours. A few minutes past these towns? Ask; bundling several tasks can make it work. For larger projects, our full service area is on the Contact page.

Small projects have a way of revealing the next one. A door adjustment becomes new Interior Doors & Trim. A shelf becomes Finish Carpentry & Built-Ins. A hardware swap becomes a new exterior door. Some of our longest client relationships started with a single small repair; if your list is pointing somewhere bigger, we will tell you what we see and let you decide.

Before hiring

Common Questions

Do you really take small jobs?
Yes. Small projects are a permanent part of how we work, not a favor. They are scheduled in dedicated windows, and they get the same written scope and clean-site treatment as a full remodel.
What makes this different from a typical handyman service?
Every visit is handled by a professional finish carpenter who holds a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration, MA HIC Reg. #220750. You get a clear scope and price before we start, and workmanship that holds up.
Do you handle plumbing or electrical repairs?
No. We stay on the carpentry side of small work: doors, trim, shelving, hardware, and repairs. When a job needs a plumber or an electrician, we tell you honestly instead of improvising.
How do you price a list?
One written price for the whole list, after we have seen it or your photos. No hourly meter, no surprises at the door.

You have a note at the end of every working day.
